There is something truly special about how a simple shared meal or a creative afternoon can bridge the distance between neighbors. Recipe of Life has been dedicated to just that – finding ways to connect families and community members through the things we love most: home cooking, shared traditions, and creative expression.
I’m a flower person and I am thrilled to announce our next community gathering, and I would love for you to be a part of it!
Save the Date: Let’s Meet at the Park
On Saturday, June 6, we are heading to Cambie Community Centre, 12800 Cambie Road, Richmond, BC for a day focused on getting creative, and celebrating the wonderful diversity of our community.
What’s Happening?
This isn’t a rigid workshop or a formal lecture—it is an open, welcoming space for everyone.
- Eco-Floral Creativity: We’ll begin with a demonstration on eco-friendly floral design, but the real fun happens afterward. We want to see your personal style shine! There will be plenty of materials, and I encourage everyone to follow their own inspiration and create a design that speaks to them.
- A Table Full of Stories: We believe that the best stories are shared over food. We’ll have music, an open atmosphere, and, most importantly, a table filled with your hometown favorites.
How to Join
This event is completely free and open to the public, but to make sure we have enough space for everyone, please let me know if you can attend by May 31.
Whether you are coming to try your hand at floral design, looking to share a favorite recipe, or simply hoping to meet some new friends in the neighborhood, I would be so happy to see you there.
